Playa Flamingo: Originally named Playa Blanca, this beach is located only 10 minutes from Bella Collina. As its name implies, Playa Blanca is a gorgeous white-sand beach and is regarded by many as one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Gentle waves make this the ideal place to spend time with family.

Playa Real: This small beauty of a beach is best enjoyed alone or with someone special. You'll have direct access to this beach from your Bella Collina residence. Serenity and seclusion is just a walk from your front door at Playa Real, nestled in a sculpted bay with a tiny tombolo leading to a rocky island. A tombolo is unusual among beach landforms; It's a sandbar that connects an island to the mainland or to another island. Keep an eye out for sea turtles here!

Playa Tamarindo: If you're up for exciting outdoor recreation, Playa Tamarindo is an excellent choice. Extending two kilometers along the coast, this is a fabulous destination for anyone wanting to fish, surf, kayak, dive, snorkel, or boat. Playa Tamarindo is a tourist beach with lots of hotels and activity, only 10 minutes from Bella Collina. The area is also home to a marine reserve. Sea turtle sightings are frequent.

Playa Grande: This beach is home to Las Baulas National Park and is the main nesting ground for the giant leatherback turtle. It is also the #1 surfing spot in Costa Rica.

Playa Langosta: Fifteen minutes from Bella Collina, you'll discover this beautiful clear-sand beach. Playa Langosta is a popular tourist beach, attracting a younger crowd than other local beaches. Located three kilometers from Playa Tamarindo, the large waves here are ideal for surfing.

Playa Brasilito: Next to Playa Conchal and only 10 minutes from Bella Collina, Playa Brasilito is a fabulous beach in a scenic small town, where you'll find several hotels, shops, bars, restaurants, and Internet cafés. Visit this beach if you enjoy horseback riding, motorbikes, and scuba diving.

Playa Potrero: Playa Potrero is a beautiful gray-sand beach, located just north of Flamingo and 15 minutes from Bella Collina. The area is a fine example of Costa Rica's rural community life with many farms and cattle ranches dotting the area, among beautiful resorts and hotels. Playa Potrero offers great surfing.

Playa Conchal: Discover one of Costa Rica's finest beaches, just five minutes from Bella Collina. Playa Conchal is home to the massive Paradisus Playa Conchal Beach & Golf Resort, which makes it an extremely popular tourist destination. But what also draws people to the area is the beach's breathtaking beauty. The crystalline, Caribbean-quality waters are ideal for snorkeling.
